HeartMath to build stress resilience and support anxiety and head noise

Alongside nutrition guidance to support stress, and anxiety, I have been using HeartMath breathing techniques with my clients and students. After a 5 to 10 mins session, they feel calmer, more at peace, and grounded.

It is brilliantly helpful when your head is churning with stuff and you can feel yourself experiencing worry, anxiety or simply a general feeling of unease. Part of your tool kit for preparing for a stressful situation, and great to activate whenever you are feeling not yourself.

What is really helpful is that once you understand and practice the techniques you can activate them anytime, anywhere, in any situation.

HeartMath is a combination of breathing and thought management designed to build stress response resilience. The result is a balancing of your sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.

If you would like to know a little more I recommend watching this 15 min video by Gavin Andrews, director of HeartMath UK and Ireland. He explains a little of the science and introduces 3 simple techniques you can get started with straight away.

It is easier learning the technique with a teacher/coach and please book a complimentary session with me if you would like some help with incorporating into your daily routines.

Please also share this link with any-one whom you think would benefit from some stress support right now.
